I was re-reading the Otori series
(Heavens net is wide, Across the nightingale Floor, Grass for his pillow, The Brilliance of the Moon, The Harsh cry of the Heron by Author Lian Hearn) , and thought i would draw Takeo & Kaede (main characters), the way i see them in my head when i read their story  “Others too, in far-flung villages, Will no doubt be gazing at this moon. That never asks which watcher claims the night.. Loud on the unseen mountain wind, A stag’s cry quivers in the heart, And somewhere a twig lets one leaf fall” ---- All done in illustrator. Lineart : [link] Detail : [link] Stock : I used stock photo's from ~kuroitsuki-stock as ref. for the characters. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
